I'm sorry that only 7 of the 20 students passed to the next level. Some of you worked very hard, but I believe that you will get more out of taking this level again than if you took the next level. Five you need to go to W-1-1 and change your registration.

As I've said in class, if you passed or if you didn't, I would love to work with you during the summer. For your first assignment, (call it #20A) write about How To Cook [something]. Think of your favorite dinner, and, in 150 to 250 words, tell me how to make it. It is easy to make [your favorite dinner] if you follow these steps. Write it with three subtopics; maybe something like:
mix, cook, and serve
or
collect ingredients, mix, and cook
